Here I am presenting the project to the class via my Loom video.
There are several ways that this project may be differentiated. One is to allow the students to create a trifold presentation by cutting and pasting information. They can use the speech to text Google search option to make research easier for students who struggling with spelling and typing. For students who have difficulty speaking they may type to search and write out their presentation for their partner, peer helper, or assistant to read. Instead of using Loom, they can use the computer’s camera app to easily record a video of the students presenting their project. These accommodations will allow students to meet lesson objectives and participate with their classmates. By presenting these accommodations as an option in the assignment presentation these students will not feel as singled out if I left these accommodations unknown to the class up until the presentations.
