Hey everyone! We’ve reached the end of our course. It is time to reflect on everything. One of the challenges that I have had on this course was putting up that blog site. It is not that I haven’t put up a website before because I have put two websites. It’s just that I have never uploaded videos of myself on a website which I was very apprehensive about, but I overcame it and made it through it. So that was good for me to grow personally. Through that challenge I have enjoyed interviewing other colleagues about technology. Those things that I have learned by talking with my colleagues have bonded me closer to my colleagues because now we have an interest in common and they’ve actually taken me and helped me learn different things that I didn’t know about the tools that we have available on our school’s portal which was very helpful, so now I understand more about the tools that we already have access to as a district. Which has been wonderful, and they’ve given me pointers about different ways that I can incorporate technology into lessons. So those things have been great. I appreciate the course for that so far as helping me reach out to my colleagues and learn from their technology. That was also a challenge for me that sometimes I don’t always want to go access technology that I haven’t used. That I am not very familiar with. I have go-to technologies that I use on a regular basis, and so if you stick to those go-to technologies you don’t really grow professionally. Your students will eventually get bored of the things that you feel comfortable with. Those are things that I took away from it. In the challenges that I faced throughout the course I hope to take with me that I keep growing professionally with the technology and that I branch out and when I get stuck, I’ll talk to my colleagues. I hope that you all enjoyed this course as well. Take care.
